Is sparkling water or soda acceptable to drink?

Sparkling water, seltzer, carbonated water, and soda water are all synonyms for water with carbon dioxide (bubbles) dissolved in it, which is compliant on all levels of the WLC.

"Soda" means soda pop, both regular and diet, which is not WLC-compliant on any nutrition level. Note that tonic water contains large amounts of sugar and is therefore not compliant.

Always read your labels and consult the food lists when you see anything you're unsure of.
